CHEVRON B40-77-06



B42-78-04 now lives in the Czech Republic with its owner Jaroslav Prasek who bought it in December 2000.

The car was ordered by Harald Ertl with BMW Schnitzer engine, he took it in the middle of the year 1978, but never race in the F2 Championship due to his activities in F1 and touring cars.

In 1979 it was purchased by Willy Siller, known for his starts with BMW Schnitzer touring cars, he became Austrian Champion in 1979 and won European hillclimbs Alpl and Dobratsch in 1979 and Alpl in 1980.

After that the car changed ownership several times and during 2001-2002 went through restoration by its current owner. It is finished in the original colours of Willy Siller.
